Soybean Products are Beneficial to the Women's Cardiovascular Health
A new study shows that the diet riching in soybean protein is beneficial to women's cardiovascular health, and the earlier you begin this kind of healthy diet, the better the result is.
For example, an Asian woman can reduce the occurrence of atherosclerosis if she takes soybean products for lifelong time.
But if an Asian woman switches her original diet to Western diet after menopause and reduces the intake of soy products, her situation of atherosclerosis has little difference with people who has Western diet for lifelong time. As for the woman who has Western diet, but starts adding a large amount of soy protein-rich foods after menopause, it is only effective to patients who had less atherosclerosis.
The executive director of the North American Menopause Society journal Margery Gass (Margery Gass) says: "This study emphasizes how important it is for women going to menopause with a good cardiovascular condition. Good health habits are beneficial to them for lifelong time."
