Probiotics May Relieve High Blood Pressure
A recent study showed that regular consumption of probiotics can be used as a way to help reduce high blood pressure, maintain normal range of blood pressure and keep a healthy lifestyle. The specific foods include yogurt, fermented milk, yogurt, cheese and dietary supplement containing probiotic.
Prolonged intake of a certain amount of probiotics seems to be a key factor in reducing blood pressure.Intaking probiotic for more than eight weeks, the average drop of systolic blood pressure is 4.9mmHg; while intaking probiotic time in less than 8 weeks or less than 1011 colonies, we have failed observing the phenomenon of blood pressure lowering.
However, this study only prompt the connection between probiotic intake and the reading of blood pressure, does not meaning that there is a direct causal relationship between the two. Doctors still need a lot of preliminary studies before putting forward proposal like"lowering blood pressure by ingesting probiotics" to patients.
